Hotel Porta Faenza - Florence

Fashionable, airy room with a private balcony, all the necessities, as for instance!

The hotel is conveniently located for all the main sights and only a short walk from the station. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean and tidy with comfortable bed, and the small balcony that we had was an unexpected bonus. The "Comfort" deal with free minibar, wine and chocolates on arrival is excellent value. Didn't use the free laptop rental.

Breakfast choice is fairly limited and sometimes had to wait for replenishment.

Great location near train station and within walking distance of main tourist sites. Nice breakfast and good restaurants locally.

The hotel is situated about 200-300 meters from the main shopping area. Convenience stores next to the hotel, 200 meters from train station. Hotel has a contract with a parking garage around the corner for 20 Euros per night. While the street it is located on looks suspicious, the inside of the hotel was welcoming, rooms were clean, and restroom spotless. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Free internet & breakfast. Would recommend/stay again.

great location but could improve room comfort

The staff were attentive, responding quickly to our requests for drinks during breakfast. The decor in our room was lovely, especially the unique ceiling that added character to the space.

It is a perfect place to stay, when you want to explore Florenze for some days.

Convenient location within walking distance of all major attractions and transport. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Room kept cool in 40c heat in spite of no airconditioning. Good size bathroom.

Hotel advertised Wi-fi in room but it did not work, although there was free WiFi in reception/lobby area and free internet on hotel pc which was fine.

Recommend for a flying visit

Charming hotel, spacious room, with excellent breakfast options including pastries and yogurt, and just a 5-minute walk from the central railway station, making it ideal for those arriving by train.

Completely flawless.

Located close to the station and on the street to San Lorenzo market with easy access to main attractions, plus in a section of the street with little passing traffic.

Breakfast could have been a bit more interesting - few different breads and pastries.

The hotel is close to station and the sight seeing spots are walkable distance except fuzzy To go to Pisa by Train it is easy reach and come back.The breakfast provided were nice except coffee

Great hotel in great location and well priced for what you get

The room was clean, spacious, and two blocks from the train station yet also close to the city center and quiet! We loved this hotel and felt it was the best place we stayed in 9 days in Italy.

Central location, very clean and nice bekfast.

We spent two nights here and absolutely loved the cozy ambiance and comfy bed. There’s a lovely terrace to sip coffee and a nice lounge area to chill with a book. Just a heads-up, the taxi service could be a bit confusing, but overall, we had a fantastic time! 😊

Meticulously clean, great location walking to train station and all the old city centre areas especially the cathedral, lots of budget friendly eating options in the area, fabulous breakfast - exactly what you expect from higher $$$ chain hotel properties. Compares favorably to an Ibis hotel.
